I also set up an A-record, which neither computer can ping. Domain: myoffice.com Computers: ComputerA, ComputerB Fully Qualified Names: ComputerA.myoffice.com and ComputerB.myoffice.com. Each computer can ping itself using the computer name or its fully qualified name.
